Integrator, Data Acquisition and Optimization

Our talented teams provide guidance over strategic planning, operations, revenue management, communications, marketing, finance, human resources, and information technology. This position is based at the Loews Hotels & Co Business Services Center in Franklin, TN.Purpose
Loews Hotels & Co. is seeking an Integrator, Data Acquisition and Optimization with experience with the hospitality industry. We are looking for a dedicated professional to be a part of our Information Technology team. Every role has an impact on our guests experience and you have the opportunity to make a difference.
As an Integrator, Data Acquisition and Optimization, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and administration of our data warehouse. Candidates must have a working knowledge of relational database management systems and relevant tools, with some data modeling experience. Candidates must have strong communication skills that allow you to regularly interact with operations and business peers as well as with specialists from other related fields. Candidates must be analytical with strong problem-solving skills and possess a good grasp of the technical side of data storage and reporting technologies.
Core Responsibilities
Assist in the development and maintenance of an enterprise dimensional data model
Utilize ETL tools to extract, transform, store and retrieve data from operational systems through the data warehouse system
Analyze data in repositories and analytical systems against source systems through the end user to isolate issues in the data lineage
Author complex T-SQL queries and manage database objects such as stored procedures, synonyms, and functions
Provide first-level support to resolve incidents and fulfill requests from the organization
Adhere and contribute to information security and governance standards including, but not limited to, Change Management, PCI DSS, and SOX
Advance the growth of our organizations data quality and performance through collaboration, ongoing improvement of best practices, and support of sustainable infrastructure.
Promote consistency and effective change management through detailed operational, technical and procedural documentation and tracking
Provide accurate tracking and communication for project deliverables
Manage and support SSRS reports
Maintain competency and professional growth, remaining current with the latest technologies and solutions in support of future data storage and optimization needs
Interface with team members at all levels of the organization with a high degree of tact and diplomacy, promoting a positive image of the department
Skill Requirements
Familiarity with current Microsoft and Amazon data tools including SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Glue ETL, managed Airflow, Lambda, and Data Migration Service.
Experience working with a middleware platform to create sustainable data mining solutions
Working knowledge of Entity-Relationship data modeling, ETL and ELT processes, warehousing, and normalization techniques
Ability to create ad-hoc analysis on the fly using structured query language
Experience maintaining cloud database instances such as Azure or AWS
Understanding of data lake architecture and related concepts
Experience processing unstructured and semi-structured data utilizing languages such as JSON or Python
Familiarity with API calls and techniques to integrate data sources into a relational database management system
Experience using data tools, such as SSRS, to publish, debug and enhance custom reports
Experience with Power BI or a related service
Education: Minimum 2 Year College Degree
Experience: 2+ Years directly related work experience specific to job requirements.
